LOS ANGELES – Metro wants to hear from you! This week, Metro released the Draft Environmental Impact Report for the East San Fernando Valley Transit Corridor Project, which aims to improve transit along Van Nuys Boulevard and San Fernando Road between the Metro Orange Line Van Nuys Station and the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station.
During a 45-day public comment period, the transit agency will be hosting a series of meetings to hear feedback from community members and offer more insight and information about the corridor’s four potential transit plans: curb-running bus rapid transit, median-running bus rapid transit, low-floor light rail transit, or light rail transit.
