Join Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, LA Valley College and the United Nations Association of the United State of America, San Fernando Valley Chapter for a free screening of Salam Neighbor. In an effort to better understand refugee life, two filmmakers spent one month living alongside displaced Syrian families in the Za’atari refugee camp in Jordan. As the first filmmakers ever allowed by the UN inside a refugee camp, they were able to get a never before seen look into this crisis and uncover the overwhelming trauma refugees face.
