Valley Clamors for Answers to Homeless Problem

Councilmember Krekorian held a Homelessness Town Hall at Valley College on January 18, 2018 and NoHo West was pleased to support the event with refreshments. The event was well attended with over 500 people.

Making NoHoWest the Best in the West in 2018

We have plans to make NoHoWest the Best in the West in 2018. The focus will be on outreach working within our business community to continue to make NoHoWest a business friendly area. We are also concerned about public safety and are working towards improving stop sign areas with flashing lights where residents have indicated that the signs are not very visible.

The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment is excited to announce IgniteLA, a program for young women that builds civic knowledge and leadership skills to bolster civic engagement. Angelenas who complete the IgniteLA program will be ready to EmpowerLA by joining their Neighborhood Council Boards.
