Adoption fees are waived for cats and kittens during our Sheps\, Pits\, and Kits adoption event\, courtesy of a generous grant from the ASPCA. #laanimalservices #lacitypets #adopt #foster #animalservicesreimagined \nThe Paula Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation will sponsor the Sheps\, Pits\, and Kits adoption event happening at our six LA Animal Services Centers on Saturday\, September 18 and Sunday\, September 19. During the Sheps\, Pits\, and Kits adoption event\, the adoption fees for all shepherd and pitty-resembling dogs will be reduced by $50\, which does not include the $20 license fee. Adoption fees for cats will be waived by the Paula Kent Meehan Pet Care Foundation and adoption fees for kittens will be waived through a generous grant from the ASPCA. DESCRIPTION:Assemblymember Nazarian invites you to attend a Renter’s Rights Workshop with the Coalition for Economic Survival (CES) to educate tenants on their rights now that the state’s eviction protections are ending and the LA City’s protections will be continuing on into 2022. \nCES will also educate tenants and landlords on: \nAllowable Rent Increases\nLos Angeles Rent Stabilization Ordinance\nHow to file a complaint with the LA Housing Department\nProtection When Your Apartment Building is Foreclosed\nLA City Rent Control \nCalifornia’s Department of Housing and Community Development will also offer information about the state Emergency Rental Assistance Program and go over some frequently asked questions. Topics include eligibility and applying for the state rental assistance program\, and utilities.
