NoHo West Commended for Service
NoHo West Board Member Charles Savinar played an important role in increasing the safety at a NoHo West intersection by working with the city to request stop signs.
North San Fernando Valley Bus Rapid Transit Moves Ahead
The Nordhoff-North Hollywood Route received the highest level of public support as it serves the CSUN Campus and connects to the regional rail system in North Hollywood. The use of Parthenia to pass under the 405 Freeway was also supported by the public because it would avoid traffic congestion on Nordhoff or Roscoe at the freeway, and it would serve multi-family residential areas in Panorama City.
Community Plan Update
This summer the project moves into its next phase with community meetings where City Planners will share what they have heard from us in the last eight months of outreach.
Businesses Not Notified of Parking Restrictions
NoHo West recently received a letter from a business stakeholder expressing concern about new parking restrictions on the street of their business without any notification. Unfortunately the restrictions now affect his customers and put his business at risk. NoHo West is investigating this matter and planning to host a Town Hall to explore why the businesses were not notified.
