Not only did they clean up the park, they gave away 50 shade trees and 20 of these 55-gallon rain barrels so our neighbors can enjoy more shade and conserve more water.

As Southern California continues to face dangerous wildfire conditions, recovery challenges, and growing concerns related to wildfire smoke and public health, we invite you to join the Los Angeles Regional Fire Safe Council and MySafe:LA for an important Virtual Wildfire Town Hall this evening, Thursday, May 21st, at 7:00 pm. Featured Guest Speakers Nurit Katz Chief Sustainability Officer, UCLA Nurit Katz will discuss UCLA’s ongoing sustainability and resilience initiatives, including how communities can better understand the evolving risks related to wildfire, climate, and urban resilience. Her work continues to help bridge science, public policy, and practical community preparedness. Alex Momand Founder, FireScore.AI Discover a new generation of AI-driven wildfire intelligence and risk assessment tools. Alex Momand will introduce FireScore.AI and discuss how emerging technologies may help communities, agencies, and residents better understand wildfire behavior, risk exposure, and preparedness opportunities.
