DESCRIPTION:Please join Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian and the Red Cross for a Family Disaster Preparedness Seminar \nWhere:\nEl Redil\n15226 Parthenia St.\nNorth Hills\, CA 91343 \nWhen:\nSaturday\, September 12\, 2015\n11 a.m. – 1 p.m. \nThe following classes will be offered: \nMap Your Neighborhood Program (Adults)\nPotential disasters and other emergencies can strike suddenly. Families and neighborhoods that are prepared for emergencies and disasters save lives\, reduce injuries and trauma\, and minimize property damage. Working as a team develops stronger communities and improves the quality of life in a community. \nPrepare Teens (For Grades 6-12)\nStudents learn how to stay safe\, handle stressful situations\, make a plan\, and be informed. \nPillowcase Project (For Grades 3-5)\nStudents learn the best ways to stay safe\, how to handle stressful situations\, and what tools they can use at home to prepare for emergencies.
