DESCRIPTION:The City Planning Department is hosting the third round of its Planning 101 training series\, an educational initiative\, in collaboration with the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE). \nThe topic of the training will be Planning for the Environment. Participants will learn about the role the City and its residents have in planning for the environment and the regulations that guide environmental analysis\, including the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). \nThe trainings will be implemented geographically across seven regions of the City on the following dates: \n(Planning 101: Planificación para el Medio Ambiente \nEl Departamento de Planificación de la Ciudad está organizando la tercera ronda de su serie de capacitaciónes llamadas Planning 101\, una iniciativa educativa\, en colaboración con el Departamento de Empoderamiento de Vecindarios. \nEl tema de la capacitación será Planificación para el Medio Ambiente. The Department of City Planning along with the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment are sponsoring Planning 101 training sessions that will give participants an overview of the basic essentials of planning\, land use and zoning in the City of Los Angeles. \nThere are six sessions spread across the entire city.
