Spring FlingThe NoHo West Neighborhood Council partnered to bring you several community building events this year, providing everyone with the opportunity to meet their neighbors, have fun and get involved in the work of the council.

  • Spring Fling was a fun time with egg hunts, face painting and crafts at Valley Plaza.
  • Our Meet & Greet at the NoHo West Center brought together our council members and stakeholders in an in person dialog over dinner.
  • Our annual summer shredding event was a free service for the community.
  • We sponsored and participated in National Night Out, an event to bring together residents and law enforcement.
  • Spooky Spectacular brought fun to children and families for Halloween.
  • We sponsored and participated in the North Hollywood LAPD Winter Wonderland for the second year.

2022 Meet & GreetWe also facilitated several wonderful community improvements including renovations to the Madison Middle School Teacher’s Lounge and a series of 15 art boxes across NoHo West painted by local artist Paul Juno. These vibrant works received a lot of community support and brighten up the neighborhood.

At our monthly meetings we keep the community updated on local happenings and create a forum to discuss community issues. City Council President Paul Krekorian joined us in August to hear from stakeholders. We had a very important town hall meeting about misinformation concerning the tiny homes with the CEO Pastor Ken Craft. Land use had two separate businesses to meet with concerning the Liquor License for a Banquet hall and to turn a Hookah lounge into a private members only night club.

We look forward to partnering with you to build community in 2023. We invite you to attend a meeting, join a committee, come to an event and consider running for a seat on the NoHo West Neighborhood Council in our elections in June.

“My best wishes to all in our community for a safe and healthy New Year while remembering the New Year is a time of new beginnings and fresh starts that also comes with a time of reflection. In the new year, I am hopeful we can continue to invest in beautification, community building, and enhancing the quality of life for all Los Angelenos.” NoHo West President Greg Wright.

Our meetings are the second Wednesday at 6:30pm. Contact us at Board@NoHoWest.org.
