May 6, 2023 was a beautiful day for an art project! Students from Madison Middle School gathered to paint a utility box near the school with artwork representing their school, including the school mascot, the bulldog. NoHo West Treasurer Leslie Myrick-Rose was on hand providing snacks and worked with Council District 2’s Jeff Camp and Jackie Keene and two LAPD Cadets to set up and break down the work space.
Madison Principal Cheryl Bloom directed our aspiring artists. Paul Juno who painted 16 utility boxes in North Hollywood stopped by to give the artists pointers.
It was a great day to see our students beautify the community. NoHoWest was proud to be part of this event.
Thank you to our artists, Principal Cheryl Bloom, NoHo West Treasurer Leslie Myrick-Rose, Artist Paul Juno, Jeff Camp and Jackie Keene of CD2 and the LAPD Cadets!
