NoHo West Neighborhood Council hosted a Paper Shredding event March 30, 11am-3pm at 12580 Saticoy at Bellaire, across from Cinema Vehicles.
We had a line around the corner before our start time and we served more than 35 cars by 12:45 and another 25 cars an hour later. We were excited to talk to to our stakeholders, who truly appreciated this event. Things we heard included:
- Concerns about homeless
- Closed and vacant buildings
- Food vendors blocking sidewalks, grease on the sidewalks and dumped in sewers
- And 100 per cent not happy with the tiny homes and nobody with answers to help the home owners. And the city offering no help just the same speech about nothing, no help with the mentally ill
