The information at the October 2025 community meeting included:
The baseball fields on Whitsett will go under construction for some time (about 2 years) during which LADWP will build a drain system to collect rain water to go to the aqueducts.
Once the construction is complete, the fields will be restored and used. There are also talks to create new soccer fields, since there haven’t been many requests for baseball use on those fields.
Nazarian’s team and LADWP will host meetings to get input on how that will be done.
