In addition to the monthly cleanups we’re coordinating with CD2, Volunteers Cleaning Communities (VCC https://volunteerscleaningcommunities.com/) is cleaning the full width of Vanowen across the valley and partnering with NCs.
As the northside of Vanowen runs through our NC district from Fulton to 170, we will join this effort.
We will meet on May 16 at 8am, outside Valley Plaza Library, where people would check in, get teamed up and given their street assignment. More details to follow.
Join us for community litter pickup event on all of Vanowen Street from Topanga to Vineland. 13 1/2 miles length with 150 volunteers. Meet us Saturday, May from 9 to 11:00 AM. Tools will be provided and sections will be assigned at registration. Noho West Neighborhood Council is one of the sponsors of this event come and meet your neighbors!
