Please be aware of an increase in stripped and abandoned vehicles being dumped throughout North Hollywood West and neighboring communities.
LAPD has provided the following guidance:
– Reporting: Report all abandoned vehicles to LADOT parking enforcement at 818-347-4823.
– Safety First: If you witness a vehicle being dropped off, do not approach or confront the individuals involved.
– Observation: If it can be done safely, please note any helpful details for the investigation, such as the tow truck’s company name, license plate, vehicle description, time, and direction of travel. Photos or video are also useful.
