Why This Matters: In 2025 alone, Los Angeles firefighters responded to nearly 200,000 emergency incidents, protecting lives, homes, businesses, and vital infrastructure across our region. Last year’s inaugural event welcomed over 700 attendees and 55 sponsors, including Congressman Sherman, Assemblywoman Schiavo, Mayor Bass, LA City Council members: Padilla, Rodriguez, Nazarian, Raman, LAUSD School Board President Scott Schmerelson, San Fernando Mayor Mendoza, neighborhood councils, and other community leaders. We want to build on this excitement to create a lasting tradition that celebrates gratitude, preparedness, and resilience.
