There are many very important offices and ballot measures on this year’s state-wide ballot – including candidates running for Governor, Lt. Governor, US Senate, all US House seats, and county and city races. There are also five ballot initiatives including a request to approve bonds for parks, additional transportation funding, and an amendment to the state’s Cap-and-Trade program. It is important that everyone vote, and to help you with decisions, the League of Women Voters is sponsoring a Community Forum on the Primary Election. The meeting will be held May 17, from 12:30 – 2:30, at Platt Library, 23600 Victory Boulevard in Woodland Hills.
Please join us as we offer a nonpartisan presentation on the 5 ballot measures to make it easier to understand those which will be on your June primary ballot.
