I’m excited to announce this year’s *virtual* Art Contest! The BD6 4th Annual Art Contest is open to all Pre-K to 12th grade students attending a LAUSD school in my Board District. Students may participate by creating one original work of art around this year’s theme, “Gratitude and Appreciation,” and then uploading a picture of their art work using this form by January 31, 2022.
Students may create a work of art using any medium, as long as it describes what “Gratitude and Appreciation” means to them. Everything else is up to their imagination! Four winners will receive art kits in the mail, and all entries will be displayed at our upcoming virtual art gallery.
