Saturday, November 11 NoHo West Neighborhood Council celebrated Veteran’s Day with a clean up along Bellaire near Strathern. Participants met up at the Bellaire / Strathern pocket park for some refreshments to sustain them for the task ahead and then headed out with the provided rakes, brooms and shovels. Volunteers of all ages worked together to clean up overgrown brush and pick up trash. Councilmember Krekorian and his son took a break from their Veteran’s Day activities and stopped by to greet everyone and thank them for their service.

Board members had canvassed the neighborhood ahead of time to introduce the council and offer free trees. Trees will be planted at a later time. Join us for our next clean up soon!
