The National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC) and four Southern California Branches of the NAACP invites you to a conversation with community organizations and LA metro area victim service providers. We will discuss concerns and experiences of victims and survivors working with community and criminal justice professionals, as well as barriers you may have when providing services to communities of color.
This conversation is a crucial part of the Building Bridges Project, which seeks to address underreporting, improve service provision and rectify disparities in treatment and services for crime victims from communities being served in Los Angeles.
We know that to serve victims and survivors better, we must seek the wisdom and expertise of victim service providers and community organizations working on the ground every day. Join this conversation to have your voice heard and be a part of improving the services survivors receive and need in the LA metro area.
