NoHo West Neighborhood Council is hosting a Town Hall to hear from LAPD Officers on what the effects of the defunding the police movement will have on their ability to respond to serve our community.
We will hear from a panel of officers:
- Captain Rafael Ramirez, Area Commanding Officer
- Captain Richard Gabaldon, Patrol Commanding Officer
- Lieutenant Robert Toledo, Detective Commanding Officer
- Lieutenant Jerry Chaney, Officer-in-Charge of the Gang and Narcotics Unit
- Sergeant Alonso Menchaca, Officer-in-Charge of the Community Relations Office
The officer presentations will take approximately an hour, after which time they will answer questions. Attendees may take one minute to ask a question, after which time they will be muted. Officers may take three minutes to reply.
