Ethel Homeless Encampment Cleared
After many requests and concerns about unhealthful conditions of sidewalks blocked on Ethel north of Sherman Way, the city has cleaned up the encampment.
NoHo West Supports 6940 Longridge
At our meeting on July 29 the NoHo West Neighborhood Council voted to support a request for 6940 Longridge, which is planned as a residential hospice home with 12 rooms: 8 double rooms and 4 single rooms.
Metro Launches Electric Buses on Orange Line
July 27, 2020, Metro unveiled the first of 40 electric buses that will be put into service by the end of 2020. This 60-foot zero-emission electric bus will deploy from the Metro North Hollywood station and will serve commuters throughout the San Fernando Valley along the G Line, formerly known as the Orange line.
