Construction is now underway on the Valley Plaza Park South Stormwater Capture Project. This project is an much needed investment in a more water-resilient city, and will help to lower water rates and decrease the prescence of pollutants in our natural water sources.
When it rains in Los Angeles, much of that water runs off our streets and out to the ocean. This project will capture stormwater at Valley Plaza Park South and put it to work, helping replenish our local groundwater supply and reduce polluted runoff. Valley Plaza Park South will also receive new recreational upgrades including new hydration stations, parking upgrades, and more.
