Tell Your Story AND Make A Difference!

Los Angeles Drug and Alcohol Policy Alliance is hosting a Youth Photo/Video contest!!
Create one or a slidedeck of photos and, or a video telling your story; how has alcohol
negatively impacted you, your friends, family and/or community.
1st Place – $300 cash prize
2nd Place – $200 cash prize
3rd Place – $100 cash prize

Get extra points by sharing your story on social media by using hashtag #weARUSla

Please read the following carefully and choose ONE option:

Photo Voice/ Photo Novella
You may use up to 10 photographs to tell your story. These photos should include a brief caption (2 to 3 sentences) explaining the photo and how it relates to the purpose of the project. The photos may focus on telling one story or show different ways alcohol has negatively impacted them.
(Before submitting, please compress/archive all photos or slidedeck into a ZIP file)

Video

The video should be no longer than 2 minutes and may be an individual or group submission. Examples of videos may include interviews or narratives.

Feel free to use your creativity, but please note that images and words used for your submission must be appropriate for audiences of all ages. Entries with inappropriate content will be required to be edited or they will not be accepted.

Final projects must be submitted by the deadline, Friday, May 25, 2018 at 11:59 PM PST. NO EXCEPTIONS.

ELIGIBILITY

Only open to youth living or attending school in the City of Los Angeles, ages 11-18 years old.

After the deadline, the Los Angeles Drug and Alcohol Policy Alliance will select winners.
