A Bridge Home is under construction in an existing warehouse at 13160 Raymer St. City Councilmember Paul Krekorian recently visited the construction site and shared that it would be open in June to serve 88 people. The shelter will be operated by Hope of the Valley and is intended as temporary housing to help people transition to permanent housing. The large space will use six foot tall partitions to create individual spaces. Other recently opened facilities include some personal storage space and the opportunity to keep a pet.
