At our March 2016 meeting we voted to co-sponsor the Homeless Connect Day with Councilmember Paul Krekorian on Thursday, April 7, 8am-12pm. The event will be held at North Hollywood Park Senior Center, 11430 Chandler Blvd., North Hollywood.
City, County, State, and non-profit agencies will provide free one-stop services for homeless people including State ID Cards from the DMV, health and vision screenings, a shower truck, HIV testing, Veteran peer support, flu shots and haircuts.
NoHoWest is proud to provide lunch for 150 people with a Neighborhood Purposes Grant of $1,350.
