NoHo West Neighborhood Council and the community are excited and grateful to Councilmember Nazarian and the City clean up crews for their tremendous work cleaning up the homeless encampments on Saticoy near the 170 and Bellaire on May 14, 2025. Councilmember Adrin Nazarian was on site and residents came out to thank him and the work crew.

From Councilmember Nazarian:

This week, my team, working with LAHSA and other City agencies, successfully housed a number of people who had been living in tents and RVs on Saticoy Street near Bellaire Avenue in North Hollywood.

These included a couple who had been living in an RV, and an unhoused man who was living in a tent. They were provided with interim shelter, where they will have their own rooms with comfortable beds, privacy, locking doors, heat and AC, shower and sanitary facilities, and safe storage for their belongings. Caseworkers will assist them with access to medical attention, counseling, and any other services they may require.

As recently as a week ago, this block of Saticoy had as many as six RVs, without sanitary facilities, and the situation had become hazardous for neighboring businesses and residents, as well as the unhoused. Since this successful outreach to the unhoused, City workers have cleared and cleaned the public right-of-way so it is available for everyone to use.
